DAVYD

Davyd has been an active member of Salt Lake City’s film and television community for over 20 years. Appearing in such projects as “Footloose”, “The Philadelphia Experiment” and “Slaughter of the Innocents”; Davyd also performs as a singer/songwriter. His special talents in numerology and astrology led to the creation of “Number’s Don’t Lie”, a comical “white rap” satire which continues to gain exposure. He has also written a book "Lunar Numerology", which is based on a thirteen-month calendar.

Having also worked behind the scenes on numerous projects, Davyd is personally responsible for much of the growth and development of professionalism within the Salt Lake market. Whether operating a boom mike, coordinating extras, or establishing a professional training opportunity for his fellow-actors, Davyd’s energy and tenacity continue to make him a valuable asset to his peers and co-workers.

Watch for his performance as “Bert”, the bartender on the SCI/FI channels upcoming feature, “A Town Has Turned To Dust”. Also watch for his next role in the film, "No Dogs Allowed", due out Easter 2001. This independent, original, wacky, career making cast is a ‘must see’ for all.

Heading towards warmer weather, Davyd has spent the last few years in the Phoenix market establishing a new film finance and production company. It is only natural that Davyd’s talents lead him into film producing, therefore starting his production company, ‘“Y” Not’ Entertainment. Davyd also went into partnership in a film finance company called The 26 Group, Inc. (www.the26group.com) Davyd’s reputation for follow through and networking is Paramount to his colleagues comfort zone…you want something done…give it to Davyd.

That simple little credit of follow through elevates Davyd's standing. The first film The 26 Group, Inc., helped finance is called 'What Love Is', www.whatloveisthemovie.com trailer, starring Cuba Gooding Jr., Sean Astin, Matthew Lillard, Anne Heche, Gina Gershon and of course the beloved writer, director and star Mars Callahan.

The second film that The 26 Group has helped finance is called, 'Spring Break 83', yet another Mars Callahan film. 'Spring Break 83' is currently in the casting stage and filming schedule has yet to be announced.
